La publicación americana ha destacado la calidad y el poder delas tarjetas gráficas de Nvidia, que son útiles para una gran cantidad de aplicaciones.

Nvidia se ha alzado con el puesto de mejor empresa del año, que otorga la prestigiosa revista Forbes. La calidad y el poder de sus tajetas gráficas destacan porque, según la publicación estadounidense, han conseguido distinguirse de los demás productos del mercado.

En agosto, Nvidia cerró su año fiscal con un volumen de negocio de 1.300 millones de dólares (878 millones de euros), lo que supuso un incremento del 30 por ciento frente al año anterior. Además, se espera según los datos aportados por Forbes que el año fiscal en curso finalice con un incremento del 33 por ciento.

La revista americana ha lanzado gran cantidad de halagos hacia Nvidia, destacando su aportación a los vídeos de alta definición y los videojuegos. Forbes ha comentado que sin Nvidia no habria "el efecto visual de combate con 'aliens' en bosques numéricos en el juego Crysis".

Pero no sólo prevalece el aspecto lúdico en esta elección. Nvidia también ha sido útil para los sectores que necesitaban grandes capacidades gráficas y de cálculo. Empresas petroleras, sociedades que cotizan en Wall Street o biólogos recurren a esta compañía por diversas razones. Y es que hay muchos tipos de actividades diferentes que precisan de unmaterial gráfico competente y apropiado. Desde análisis sísmicos submarinos hasta la visualización de una estructura molecular.
